I'LL MISS reminiscing about years past. Discussing mistakes made and rectified. Conversations about the highs and lows of childhood. About the food we eat and definitely the food we don't. About the pride felt when our children are doing well and the helplessness felt when they are sad. I'll miss the in depth analysis about- well anything! From the art of minimalism to the miniscule movements of the stock market. Some interesting, some, lets say informative- but always a pleasure. I'll miss the times of absolute unstoppable laughter between two grown men at something that seemed at times only we found funny. I'll miss the times of total exasperation on the faces of our long suffering wives (and children) of our childish behaviour. Of our one line sayings that would have us in stitches every single time they were uttered. Usually in the most inappropriate moments. Our laughter meant so much. Our plans for future adventures never far away. What an odd couple of friends we must have seemed. There's only one thing I won't miss 'brother' and thats seeing you in pain. But I will miss you! The memories are implanted and on a sunny afternoon over looking the river when its just me and my thoughts, i'll think of you and smile.
